Root A Theoretical Question

I have a theoretical question that revolves around the LG Marquee and the Optimus Black.

The Marquee and Black are identical phones with the one exception of the Radio and FM Receiver (Marquee is CDMA 1x & EVDO Rev A and the Black is a GSM HSDPA 7.2, HSUPA 5.76, UTMS and Edge phone.) If someone were to replace the drivers for the Black for the drivers one the Marquee. Would it be possible to install a Official Cyanogenmod Rom for a Black onto a Marquee?


Is it just that simple or is there more to it?

You would need to do more research, or just try it out to say for sure. But if there is anything else, there's not much. In fact, the p970 cm9 ROM was ported to the marquee before I built from source.
