A Warning/FYI for those that ordered Multiple N7's

Ahoy hoy everyone,

I ordered two Nexus 7's on the 28th, and received them both today. So I signed into the first, and received my email stating that I got the $25 play store credit. One down, one to go. I signed into the second one and.....nothing? I didn't receive the second $25 credit for the second N7 I purchased. I called Google Wallet, and explained the situation.

The CS Rep (who was very nice btw) put me on hold to get more information, and then came back two minutes later saying that she was told that the credit is only applicable one time per account. I advised her that there is no limitation or stipulation listed on the Google Play Store (which there isn't). The only thing it says is the equivalency of "purchase a nexus 7 and receive a $25 credit towards purchases in the Google Play Store). I purchased two nexus 7's with the understanding that I would be receiving a credit for each, which I did not. She said she would forward the issue to the higher ups and they would give me a call back. I got her name, employee number, and thanked her for her time.

Just wanted to give a heads up to those who ordered multiple Nexus 7's, as of right now you won't be able to receive all of your $25 play store credits to any one account (at least not right now). Hopefully I will receive a call back with a resolution.

Now why in the world would one person buy two identical tablets to use on the same account...
Unless it would be for a kid but still, they could and should have their own account.
Now, I think you should be able to get the credit if you use a different account after hard resetting.

Daniel, I don't want it on a separate account, as that would defeat the purpose. I have one account specifically for all of my purchases (and since you can have multiple accounts active on the same device, i have another account for everything else, like email, chat, g+, etc..), that way I don't have to buy the same things multiple times. One Nexus7 is for me and the other is for my wife. I purchased two, and should get the credit on both. The credit would be of no use on another account as I don't make purchases on any other account, only the one in question.

And as far as the singular account is concerned, It's use is very valid. If I buy a song on the play store, or a book, or a movie, it can be accessed by all the devices in my house that my various family members have, as they all have the purchase account on them. When you buy a book at a store, you don't have to buy it again for your son to read it do you? Same with a CD. I just use the same principal by having all Play store purchases on a single family account, that is used by various members of my family.
