Help A way to turn off 4g?

Whats up everyone. Loving the Nexus so far but was wondering something. I just upgraded from the Incredible so I haven't had a 4g phone and was wondering if there was a way to turn it off when you don't need it? Do you have to be rooted to do it? Thanks for any information!!

There should be a way to toggle network data between CDMA and CDMA/LTE in the settings menu. Not sure that this can be done via a simple widget.

I dont think you can, since its always going to try 4g first and fallback onto 3g when it has to. if anyone finds a widget that can change it easily hook us up.
