A10E root

Has anyone rooted the a10e and have a guide?? Cant seem to find much on it and also any recommendations on custom roms?? I'm a noob so I need all the info I can get. Thanks

Anyone get this to work? I have a Galaxy A10e on order now. I really just want to use this as a media player, like the old Samsung Galaxy Player 5 inch media player. I want to be able to store and play more music that the other device. I don't need any phone functionality and would only use wifi if necessary but rarely ever connect through wifi. I use WinAmp to player music. Do I really need to root it or can I just not activate it? And also avoid getting the activation reminders I keep reading about.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

activate it? you mean with your provider? if you only want to use it a music player, then no no need to activate it with a carrier or provider. and also there is no need to root the device as well. but that is up to you. i think rooting is fun, but your device does not have much of a development community to really make it worth rooting. but like i said rooting is fun and could be a good skill to learn.

Hi,

Thanks for the help. Is there a way to remove the activation reminder?

Phone is not rootable..If you want bypass activation then put a different sim in the phone..1 that's not compatible...it'll say sumthin like "sim card not compatible" or sumthin like that then boom no activation..
