Help A2dp ???????????

I can't find any information about A2DP and the Samsung Captivate. Does anyone know if it's supposed to be working? Because I can't make it happen with my blueant Q1. If anyone knows how to make it work on this specific model without special tampering, etc., can you please let me know how you did it? I am an audiobook junkie and HATE having to use earbuds.

I got it to work on my Blueant T1 by updating the software on the blueant. Not sure if you can do that with a Q1..but the Captivate definitely supports A2DP to answer that question

You know, I didn't even think to try one of my other BT headsets. And even worse, I called AT&T about it and the jerk told me "...maybe it will be supported in the 2.2 update". Wow, where was my head, I should have known better than to take his word for it. They might have lost a sale too, I have 30 days to return, and lack of A2DP might be a deal-killer. Anyway, thank you, I will try one of my other devices tonight. I only tried with my Q1 and I did do the update awhile back, works fine with iphone 4, but maybe there's an incompatibility between it and the captivate. I'll update my results tomorrow.

Ok, I unpaired the headset from the Captivate, restarted the phone so that the profile disappeared; then I reset my headset, then repaired, and everything is hunky dory now. PROBLEM SOLVED.

I tried the above procedure, and still no joy!
Anyone have any further advice???
