Root A2SD (Apps To SD)

Where exactly can I delete old nand backups on the SD. I found the nandroid folder so can I just delete everything or are something's there important? I need more space to do another nand backup so im clearing out the useless stuff in my SD.

Ps: Looks like it might already be too late to return so fixing it is the top priority.

EDIT: I have this question because I keep getting 'Error: Run 'nandroid-mobile.sh' via adb!'errors ._. And even after freeing up and leaving about 1gb space left, I still get those errors. (Looks like I am just one very unlucky owner...)
 
Alrite then,a simple yes or no question. Will installing the latest version of Amon_Ra recovery fix the nandroid-mobile.shvia adb! errors?

Already traveled so I can't return the SD although I got some reassurance that it wasn't the seller's fault. My only option now is to fix it and I'd really appreciate some help as I can't download any new apps or songs until I get this fixed cause my phone is full. Thanks to whoever replies X_X
 
Yes, you can just delete the nandroid folder entirely if you need the space in the future, it won't break anything.

I don't know about updating, but I guess it's worth a shot. What version are you on right now? Also, which type of ext partition are you using, ext2, 3 or 4?

When I've seen that error before, it's either been caused by lack of space, a bad ROM install or when I tried to use Ext4.
 
I'm guessing it might be a bad rom install, can I just reinstall the rom again w/o wiping? And if I can't, which method shall I use to install the recovery rom? Thanks.
 
Once again, I aplogize for having too many questions but I just want the SD to work!

Wiped davilk cache: adb thing still failed and all my apps, details and stuff got wiped (not planned)
I installed the latest version of Amon_RA: adb thing still failed.
Reinstalled VR13 (didn't mind wiping since first attempt already did it for me .-.): adb still failed

Everything you suggested this far hasnt worked :( anything else you could recommend? My battery is full, my sd card has about 1gb in it, and i never went close to this ext4 thing. Is it because Im doing an Nand +Ext backup when a2sd didnt even work?
 
Can you use app2sd on a phone that is just rooted but with no custom rom?

Every time I try to install app2sd I get a parce error.
 
Just an update to everyone that tried to help, I've given up on the SD. I managed to get a nandroid going and followed Xyro's instructions but still the same results. 30 pounds down the drain :/ Thanks for the help anyway, perhaps I'll send it away for repair sometime or get a new one when i return to England.
 
Got mine to work on 8gb SD but when I install apps from market, I get a message saying "insufficient memory" even though my pphone clearly states I have 400+mb free for A2SD on my SD card and 62mb on internal. What's going on o.o?
