Root [A2SD|D2SD|INT2EXT]Universal Method to Increase Internal Memory

have partitioned ur sd card??

If so download this file and extract it

copy that ext2.ko to system/lib/modules

reboot

if link2sd again shows "cannot create mount script just quick reboot

now link2sd will show mount warning error
then again quick reboot twice

that's all
 
Thank you. yes had created a second ext2 partition. installed ext2.ko. worked well. got the second partition mounted in link2sd. then installed INT2EXT+deodexed_Mastermind.zip. but still my internal memory in settings is showing 11.4 Mb....now what?

btw is UB-1 RM compatible with this method? because i kina have tried everything i could find here n this forum. tried DATA2EXT, and then this one..nothing seems to work...do you think i should flash some other ROM? if yes, which one should i? thanx in advance...
 
so this is supposed to be universal as in for multiple devices right? i'm trying to get it working in my rom for the VM-670 Virgin Mobile Optimus V. it works great as far as the sd-ext use goes but it seems i still have the mentioned IMIE or NVram bugs. the script works but i get no service using it. i've read to reboot so i've tried that up to 5 times. still no dice. any suggestions?

Edit: figured it out. My device doesn't have /data/nvram/ it has /data/radio I changed all references and it worked after one reboot. Thanks again.

Thanks for reporting that bug n also fix...i have made necessary changes in script n also added credit to u in OP.

i flashed the deodexed version of the int2ext script..
but something like android.process.acore is fc's again and again..
i mean i can't open dialer or messaging app on my phone..
plz provide a solution.. i am on blue terror ...

That's because of zipalignment....that apk is being zipaligned so not available for system for that moment..
What i want u to do is, reboot the device n as soon as u see the FC, don't do anything, let it be like that for some time about 2 min may be, the restart the device n see,i got that same on my deodexed jet when i added ziplalign script to device n solved it with the same i mentioned.
 
what am i doing is that i flash the deodexed int2ext on blue terror ...
is blue terror deodexed ??

I have link2sd installed and it gives me plenty of room that I didn't have before, and all seems to be working well.

Sorry if this comes off as a stupid question, but what is the advantage of using INT2EXT+ over using link2sd? Is it just that additional storage gained by not having the links in internal memory? Does it perform better?

I flashed int2ext on anarchy n got sim not recognition error as if no network no sim management working so restore d backup what i did before flashing d zip please suggest what I need to do to make it working. I m on anarchy reloaded.

Buddy..!!!! You just had to reboot again, once only after flashing the zip...it works well....
1) Flash the rom
2) Boot the device (all well)
3) Reboot to recovery
4) Flash Int2Ext zip
5) Reboot the device
6) Sim not recognized (it's fine)
7) Reboot the device
8) Everything is good now
 
How i got it working was..
I got Force close error when first time i flashed Int2Ext script and also didn't get the sim recognition .!!
but as said by mastermind i rebooted the device after 2 mins ...
then got it all working..

It worked and now everything is working fine without any problem.
 
thanks brother for doing all scripts,
no body has taken such type of pain to increase internal memory

please, do something for swap memory support.
 
Can't get this to work with SagarWEP 3.03..It works but no network. Rebooted multiple times leaving 10-20-30 minutes gap and no network and SIM cards not active..

Any ideas?

Did u use my script from here or directly from xda???
I haven't checked modified xda script so can't tell u anything if u used it.
N if u r on my scripts then also i m clueless cause it never happened after i modded the script.me n other users have used this script many times n network worked everytime after 2nd reboot.

If u r on Anarchy Reloaded then, get into Engineer Mode->GPRS
Then write ur IMEI nos. for both sim one by one..then reboot.
 
I used INT2EXT+_Mastermind.zip and flashed. After several reboots still no network.

I then reverted back to Nandroid backup of Sagar 3.03. Network came back.

I then copied your 40int2ext and pasted in /system/stc/init.d and gave 755 permissions. Reboot and no network. Again Nandroid restore.

I have no issues with IMEI. When I was using your Anarchy ROM I used the engineer mode and wrote IMEI to NAND. My IMEI's no longer disappears when I change ROM so that's one good thing.

I then tried the script from xda. Same issue. Sagarwep 3.03 has following files already in init.d folder:

00busyboxinstall
05userinit
15sdcard
66citbun

I also tried by removing 15sdcard and rebooting. Again no network.

The script works fine with Sagar 2.1 as posted yesterday.
