SUroot Extreme Android User Oct 6, 2010 #2 Depends on the rom. If you're going from 2.2 based x-romv1 to 2.2 based x-romv2 then maybe you can get away without wiping. If you're going from 2.1 or 2.2 based y-rom to x-rom, then you should wipe.
