Root A500 or A501 shell issue

I have the A501 which is the same shell design as the A500... My issue is that my volume rocker corner is split and wont seal again.

Ive talked with tech support (always a joy) and they say I cant purchase a new shell.

Does any one know of where I can find one? Or know a fix for this??? I cant post images yet as this is my first post - if you want to see what I mean let me know and I will email you directly.

Other then that issue, my A501 is perfect for my needs!!!

Mine split also. I just used a toothpick with glue on it and glued it .Still holding...

Thats a solid idea!!! What type of glue would you suggest???

I just used a tube of Clear Adhesive cant remember name but i got it at a Grocery store.
