Help A500 Video Output

This is my first post and I hope this hasnt been posted before. I have searched the internet for hours and have been unable to figure this out.

I purchased the Acer A500 tablet the other day, mainly to hook up to different TV's for PowerPoint presentations. The issue I am having is that on most tvs, the powerpoints work fine. However on most, all I see is the Android guy with "720p?" on the tv, and can not get out of it. I know that the TV is not 1080p.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Adjust the screen resolution on your TV. I go from 16.9 to wide screen to screen fit to 4x3. One way or the other you will see the bottom of the screen with the controls for it. Had this issue with an HTPC, figured it out later and from there all was well.
