Root A75 gb rom porting to a70

One of our forum member, kumar abhishek has bought a75 which have gingerbread rom. Sam please help us in porting so.
Everyone is requested & invited for their contribution.
I have asked abhishek to give backup of his rom after rooting.
Edit: both phones have same internal memory 190mb, same ram, same screen resolution.
 
They need CWM recovery too for backup.
PlayfulGod was kind enough to make one for A70 :)

Btw, do this abhishek: Download Root Explorer or any other file manager.
Go to /system directory and copy the build.prop file to sdcard and post it here :)
 
Well guys I am not a ROM developer but I think GB is possible. I not only think but assure u as when I tried cm7 beta it booted but prob was touchscreen ans gsm which is prob of cm6 too!! So we cant say its prob of GB...
Conclusion : Gb is successfuly ported to our phone as cm7 booted normally :)

Request : sam and varun, please continue ur gb progress untill source is released

we will port this also but we need a very good cm kernel to port gb and all other roms ...
every port we tried was stuck at logo .because we used stock kernel
but as soon as cm kernel was used it boots up but cm kernel has two bugs no touch driver and adb is not working
so we are working on cm kernel now ....
 
Use gingerbreak apk to root if it fails use super one click ....
Using file manager upload your build prop ..it will be in system folder of root directory

I used gingerbreak but it did not root I waited for 20 minutes after clicking on root but exploiting process did not complete.
I am not at home so not having pc and cant use superoneclick. is there any other method?

I compared the specification of both phones a70 and a75, screen resolution is same. Same internal memory 190 mb, same ram, but ginger bread.

If this takes more than 2 minutes, it means it s stucked, you should try it again.
You can try " easy root "appication or "provoked" application . Search on google for them .

Easy root is not for gb but for froyo and for provoked pls paste the link to download it
 
we got this info from build.prop of a75

but if we have cm7 then yes
