AAAAGGGHHH!!! Please help with email issues

I have a work email account that is on google apps. I need this to notify me when I get emails. this is loaded on the mail app

I have a personal gmail account which was registered as the phone's email account. This is a far less important account. this is loaded on the gmail app

The less important account, on the gmail app works great.

The really important account, on the email account DOES NOT RECEIVE ANY MAIL! I tried the settings, I tried the clearing the cache trick and nothing works.

Can anyone help me?

try using the regular mail app instead of using the gmail app

From home screen, hit menu-settings-accounts and sync. Make sure the mail program is set to sync. Also, check how often it is syncing, it may be set to manual.

hmmm, then its possible your email account wasnt set up correctly. I dont use the Mail app, but i'm pretty sure it should show up in the Accounts and Sync settings.

Ok in order to help I think we will need to know a bit more about your setup. From what I have read you are using the Gmail App for your personal email. What are you using to try and get the business account? The Mail App or the Gmail App?
