Help ? about custom ringtones

Hi does anyone know how to set different ringtones for messages & emails. I tried but which ever tone I set it seems to use them for both notifications!!!

Hi brissie, I don't know whether you have figured out how to do it as no-one has replied.

2.6.1 How do I set the incoming call ringtone?
Incoming call ringtone: Touch > Settings > Sound > Phone ringtone.

In Messaging > Touch Menu > Settings > Select Ringtone (only 15 selections available).

I would imagine the same procedure would be used for Emails.
When in Emails > Touch Menu > Settings > etc.
