About Pictures/Videos files

Hello,

Sorry, I'm kind of new to the Android world... getting to know it. I found that I have 45mb under Pictures/Videos but I don't save my photos in the phone... I save them in the SD card. I went to the folder (/storage/emulated/0/DCIM) and I found a folder named .thumbnails. To see what's inside that folder I had to check "show hidden files" in settings. Inside that folder I saw all the photos I have in my SD card and other stuff... I delete it but it came back again... Is this normal?...

Yes. These cached thumbnails are for the system and will always regenerate. They will not leave until you delete the photos associated with them.

The thumbnails are there so Gallery doesn't have to re-index all your photos every time you open it. Makes it way way quicker.

Unfortunately the emulated SD Card forces it to save there, like things for other system apps. You'd have to root and look into Folder Mount to force the phone into using the SD card for all things SD Card related.
