Hey guys!

Just flashed this rom and i have to just let you know that it's bleeding good...so far...!

My benchmark is BBC.CO.Uk and if it plays the news videos, plus if the wifi stays connected without the annoying authenticating messages and then having to re connect. Can report that both work for me and that's a good start as far as I'm concerned

The boys&girls at absolution seem to have done the trick for me! :D
I'll let you know how i get on over the next few days but just happy i can see videos! (yes i know it's not much but it got me excited!!)

off to play with it now.
 
I very much like the Absolution ROM. I'm still on 3.1, but I've had the latest version on my SD Card since it was released.

Hope you finally sort your issues.

3.5 is good :D 3.6 however has been placed onto post 1 on XDA now. However 3.5 is the one out of the two compatible with Boot Manager so rolling with that. Have to say I can see its appeal and the theme speaks to my dark side :) Actually very tempted by it to replace as my phone ROM. Very slick, well organised and smooth even from the SD. Definitely one I keep as a permanent blip on my radar.

HI

Anybody know what the correct radio to flash for desire HD for this rom as looked at XDA and got all confused.

On ARHD and geting bored thinking i'm turning into a flasher
 
Still enjoying this rom and getting about 19hours of battery life, could get more but charging once it gets down to 20%

Just out of interest, when playing a video via the gallery if i pause it and then take a screen shot the resulting image comes out completely black.
I'm sure when i d did this on Miui it worked and took a pic of the screen and the video freeze frame image? anyone know or experienced what i'm prattling on about?? :)

I can take screen grabs of video stills. Viewing the video through rockplayer and using "Screenshot" app. Tried it paused and left running.

Hi all, downloaded rock player and screenshot but same again a blank black image was captured. Which screenshot did you use ?
 
Hey Everyone :)

Screen shot problem solved...i think!

I used Mobo video player pro and when you pause it while playing a video and use the built in screen shot feature on the phone what i've learned is that in order to view the screen shot image you need to reboot the phone and it'll then show up in your gallery! :D

Ignore this if you already know about this one...actually don't ignore it you should have told me Lol!!! :eek::D
