Help Accepting mobile credit card payments using Android

My sister said she saw someone accepting credit card payments using a cellphone yesterday in a fair. Anybody here knows what they call the thing they attach to the cellphone to do this? My sister is considering getting one for her business.

I think it's called a Credit Card Swipey Thingy.

Actually in general it is known as a dongle.

Some sort of EPOS terminal probably. The one we use doesn't need to connect to a phone, has its own cellular connection, can use it anywhere. Your sister needs to speak to her bank's business merchant services I think, and enquire what they have

Nope, Android Pay is debit-only i.e. it allows payment but not receipt.

I think what we saw is Apple pay, the guy uses his iPhone to make the payment, I went to google it and there are mobile credit card processing solutions that we can get to accept that kind of payment. Some companies offer free credit card readers too..
