can you be more detailed? what phone do you have? and are you connected to your computer via a usb cable? are you accessing the phones memory storage? or the phone's sd card? have you checked the dcim folder?

Thanks for your reply...out of the blue I resolved it yesterday evening.
When connecting with a USB cable...Samsung Galaxy A33....it displayed 'charging only' but managed to allow data exchange as well in settings.

Wonderful, love how Samsung products are like that, like my Samsung Tablet, over now about before Covid hit.

My Motorola (Android) must be told to allow data transfer as well.

Some times also could be a cable that doesn't transfer, or the setting in the phone to transfer data as they mentioned

Yeah, sometimes you've to select the option for the data transfer to transfer data, otherwise, it'll only charge the phone.
