Access Network Files

Is it possible to access network files through wifi? I am using the Motorola Atrix 2. Is it possible for the phone to do this on its own, or do I need another app? If so, which app would you recommend?

I use File Expert to access network/samba shares.

You can do this with ES File Explorer too.
