Access Text Messages with Broken Screen

Todday I dropped my LG G2 and the screen cracked. I can still see my background and the phone still works, however, I can't use my touchscreen. I have a replacement phone coming. But I was wondering was there any way I can get my text messages and contacts off of the phone?

If you had a gmail account on the phone, your contacts should be sync'd to Google so you can access them by logging into your gmail account on any PC, then choosing contacts. If you get another Android device, when you set up that phone, entering the gmail address will sync the contacts to that phone.

As for the texts, nothing is coming to mind that doesn't involve an app on the broken screen phone which you likely can't interface if not already installed. There's probably a way, I'm just not thinking of it offhand.

I tried the OSP, but since I can't change my connection settings on my phone due to the screen being unresponsive, i'ts not working.

I might have to get out my wireless mouse to try that just for fun.

* Oops. I don't have the OTG cable, just the adapter that goes the other way.
