Help Accessibility Zoom Window limits functionality

Help! I was looking through the Settings/Accessibility and checked the "Zoom" function and now I cannot open some applications or make selections that are more than two levels deep. When I activated this "Zoom" function it placed a magnifying window overlay which zooms in and out on the screen, but it wont go away, there is no way to close it and I cannot get back to the Settings/Accessibility Menu because that is the third level. How do I get this to stop working, I tried pulling the battery but tht did not stop that "Zoom" function or allow me back into the setting menu.

Apparently others have not had this issue. My son has the same phone and had no problem. I tried both soft and hard reset without luck, Verizon agrees the there is a softwarre issue and sending a new (refurb) phone to me. I still want to try to really wipe the phone (firmware upgrade?) or otherwise do a wipe from root and see if upgrading to 2.3.340 will solve the problem.

You should be able to navigate as usual. I was testing the accessibility functions yesterday and I was able to turn it off.

I had also turned on the readout feature.
I had to double tap everything I did in order to navigate.

pool_shark, I think that you are right about the multiple tap. I say that because I tried double and it didn't always work, but triple usually does. Long story short I was able to turn off the accessibility functions and everything seems back to normal. Now I have the replacement refurb phone and wondering what the best course of action - keep my original or the refurb?
