accessing contacts whilst messaging?

Hi Guys,

I have just received my new Nexus S, and whilst everything is great and shiny, having moved from Sense to stock android I am struggling to send Text messages as I normally would on my old Hero!

My problem comes when I want to send a Text message to multiple contacts, on my Hero I would simply tap the people symbol which would then take me to my contacts list and from there I can tag whichever contacts I wish to send the Text to.

I cannot seem to find a way of doing this on my nexus??

Please can someone explain how I can do this? so far all I can do is start typing everyone's names into the recipient bar one by one!

I haven't used the stock messaging app in a really long time. You should check out Handcent in the Marketplace. That's been my favorite messaging app for a while now. Just make sure to turn off notifications in the stock app once Handcent is installed so that you don't get two notifications for each message.
