Accessing files on local network computers

Is there a way to access files and photos on computers on my home network?

I would like to be able to view the photos stored on my laptop on my Tab2

I'm running Windows 7 and the folders containing the photos are shared to the network.

If you use esfile explorer you can. I've done it that way. You should be able to from other file explorers also.
