Help Accessing twitter/Peep App

Hi all,

I'm a v new HTC Desire S owner. I've tried to access Twitter and Peep from my apps but every time I try this I get the error message

an error occured when signing in, please try later

I can go to google search and log in that way just not via apps. Any ideas gratefully received.

Have you tried syncing twitter by menu>settings>accounts and sync, then adding twitter?

Also, twitter sometimes requests authorization of 3rd party apps like peep, in order to work. Maybe thats preventing login.

Hi, and thanks for the speedy reply. I've just tried the sync and received the same message.

Not sure what you mean exactly by the 3rd party authn though?

3rd party apps like twidoyd, twicca, tweetcaster etc. try search twitter in the market, there are many choices of alternatives, most better than peep AND the official twitter app.

Most come in free and paid versions.

As far as I know, Peep isn't supported anymore as Twitter changed their login-procedures.
