Accessories for the HTC Droid Eris

i got this dock, works well, and works while phone has the case on...

The Seidio Innocase 2 is by far the nicest case I've seen for the Eris. I've tried the Verizon case and holster, the PawAvenue Hard Gel Case, and the 2 piece Rubberized Cover from onlyeris.com. The Innocase is easy to take on and off for getting at the battery/sd card thanks to its felt liner and 2 piece design. It protects everything that needs protecting without adding bulk. It has a cutout for the volume keys and doesn't interfere with the screen (typing on the keyboard). It also looks great. At $30 it is overpriced but if nothing is too good for your Eris then this is the case to have. A close second is the Pawavenue Hard Gel case on ebay but it represents a tremendous value.

I haven't given it the full pocket lint test but don't expect it to be a problem.

Verizon now sells the body glove case at the store...I have it and i dropped the phone today and it came apart and the phone got a little nicked up..kinda pissed me off....but it did take the brunt of the impact i probably would have had a cracked screen otherwise

Yes it is. I picked up 6 from the guy at the mall. I looks and feels great on the phone and doesn't add a bunch of bulk. It also, as I accidentally tested last night, helps in protecting the phone when dropped. :o

Been debating picking one of these up... I really like the 'smoke' gel case I bought a while back, but the volume rocker is STILL after 2 months really hard to press, never ended up getting any easier, and still frustrates me :)

Well, I am having to share them with my girl. I will probably use the black one 90% of the time, but she has to accessorize with everything. :rolleyes:
We go through this every time we get phones.

Oh so not fair!! I am like you...just give me the one and I am happy. I guess I will have to live with my Eris being naked. Haven't found anything here in this podunk town I live in. Verion store here accepts payments and that is about it. Plus I think I pissed them off when I told them I wouldn't pay $541.00 for Droid and Eris. Got both online for $119.99! :)

The one that NefariousAryq posted is the same thing I have. The texture is the same as the Eris and it fits very well. If you like it, just grab one off of ebay. There are a lot of good deals on there.

Yeah lots of people on eBay sell that same thing, and in many many different colors... Anywhere in price from $6 to $10 I've seen. Not a bad deal at all.

When you say it works with a case on it, do you, or anyone else, know if it works with the black "ribbed" Verizon case that's been shown in this thread quite a bit? I have that case and really want a dock, but I was worried with it being thick & ribbed rubber, that it wouldn't fit any docks.
 
Does anyone know or have good in-ear earphones for the HTC Droid Eris that have a compatible mic and a cheap price?
 
Y'all wanna get a TPU case. Softer than plastic, harder than silicon, form-fitting and lint-repelling. I love mine, and got it on eBay for $7.50 shipped to my door in 3 days.

im not sure but on the site it says it will work with 'most' cases that have an opening for the charger. i would say that if it works with you regular charger then it should work.

the charging connection on the dock is movable so it accommodates changes in case thickness.

i am getting the seidio innocase II so i am hoping their own products are compatible.

Yes, it is. The button in the mic can be used to answer and hang up calls. I use a pair with my Sprint Hero. HTC also offers in-ear headphones with a microphone/control button. Has anyone used those?
