Bah, I really like the look of the official (non-flip) case with the fabric back... but of course that one is "not available" on the google store site. Grrr!!!

Anyone with this case know if it is worth the wait? I previously went naked with my Droid Turbo (a tough little phone), but am more nervous with this guy since its so much larger / longer.

Thanks!

I have the one linked here:

Its frustrating to take screenshots with, as the plastic doesnt seem to have enough give to allow the buttons to distinguish the volume down + power from just mashing all of them at once. It has gotten better as time has gone on, but I still have to be careful to *barely* press it and make sure i do it at the very bottom of volume down

Other than that I think it looks really nice.

I have three different clear cases for my 6P, and the Adopted is my least favorite. It does have a decent feel but I don't care for the frosted finish and it is the most difficult to put on/remove (though doesn't seem to fit any better). Also, the buttons are the stiffest.

My runner up, that I like a lot, is the RedShield clear case. It feels good in the hand, you see the phone though the case, and is fairly thin. This case, like the Adopted, is entirely made of TPU. This case probably has the best "button feel" of the three cases, at least in part because it seems to be the thinnest case.

My favorite, so far, is the Spigen Clear Ultra Hybrid case. I feel having the poly-carbonate back helps provide a little extra protection, plus the corners of the case appear to be engineered to better protect the corners of the phone. I also like that the black bar on the back is not covered, but still has enough of a lip to protect the glass on back when you set the phone down or if you should drop it. Also, like the RedShield, being a clear case it really shows off the good looks of the phone.

So far I've gotten one clear case (Orzly) from Amazon just to have something to cover the phone with. I have yet to set anything up on the phone 'cause it's so dang slick. I also have a Spigen case on order.
