I just picked up an Ultra High 1900mAH Power extended battery from Radio Shack for $46.99 which came with a deeper back door cover that also acts like a heavy duty rubberized case. Fits perfectly and now I don't have to worry about my battery dying all the time.

Only 1900mAH? Anker sells batteries with that capacity for much cheaper and they fit in the stock battery cover.

I use it and it's great. My phone 'accepted' the battery right away too. All I did was charge it fully while my phone was off, unplugged the charger and booted my phone. It's only double the amount of the mAh as compared to the stock battery, but it just seems to discharge a lot slower so it lasts way more than double the time until empty (in my experience so far at least). You can buy it from eBay for about $10 cheaper (after you consider all shipping costs, etc).
