I got this screen protector pack. I had no experience installing screen protectors so I got the 4 pack.
3 of them I did had a few small bits of lint that caused bubbles, but I managed to get it perfect with the last one.
They each come with a lint free cloth and a hard piece of plastic to push out the bubbles(ones not caused by lint). The screen protector looks and feels fine, and I often forget it's there.

I also got this case in which is very nice, but in black and gray. Only drawback is the kickstand is a hard to pull out, but I always have my keys with me and that works. Was $25 instore

It replaces this one with a stand.

Truth be told, I had no major qualms with the stand case other than being Very Picky the paint job could have been better done. It's a Freekin' Tank no doubt about it, probably the Poor Man's Otter Case, Seriously. It's actually a little tough to remove. Everything on the phone works fine with it. But lately we've had some here extolling the "thin sexiness" of the stock Spirit and that had me staring at this case like maybe she was a little...er...portly. :D

I actually have a thread about Take A Stand, Stands or No Stands where I said I was right on the fence about the stand. That I wondered if I'd miss the stand More than I'd appreciate the thinner set-up overall. Hmmm. Then it kind of dawned on me. (Short bus) I maybe use the stand 2 or 3 times a week. Yep, no doubt, I'd sure miss it then. Buttt, the portliness is All The Time. So, stay tuned...

This standless is a nice compromise. The silicone sleeve part is even a thinner silicone. Still probably 4/5s of the whole (non-screen) phone is covered in dual hard/soft layers. All cutouts seem to be in the right places. I won't say that it returns All of the no stand, "Damn Spirit, you gotta eat something girl!" "sexy thinness" but it returns enough of it to still notice, "Hey, that's a pretty thin phone."

So I'd put the protection of this standless one at a notch Thinner than the standed one but still it looks like more than sufficient protection. OTOH, the phone Does look a lot nicer without the Add Ten Pounds filter. :p

Funny prologue; The stand case guys also sell screen protectors. I tried like hell to get them to toss one free sample in with my case under the premise that if they were good, I'd be back for more. No Joy. Just not near a slick enough talker I guess. :( The standless case guys though, I didn't even have ask them. They just tossed in one of the nice $2 clear protectors with their case for Free Without being asked.

PS Both of them are only around $7-8 each.

PSS; The new standless also lets just a peek of the metalplastic around the screen poke thru. I LIKE that. The standed case covered all that up.

Well, I got the Spirit which I may return to get s3... but I also got the Skinomi skin in the brushed aluminum finish, which I will most definitely return.

I know it's a "sticker", this I have no problems with. I've had one from another company on my ipod nano for some 5 years now (they don't have Spirit skins yet). It's just that this supposed "aluminum" looks more like brushed plastic. It's just a blue toned gray plastic look. I read someone on amazon said it's kind of duct tape-y, and they were right.

I haven't seen the other finishes in person, so maybe there's a good Skinomi out there.i I won't bother trying them again though.
