Help Accidentally deleted pics!!!!

So instead of hitting the share button, I accidentally hit delete on a bunch of important pics... Is there anyway to recover them?

I tried those android recover software things but I don't think I can use them since Nexus 5s cant be connected as mass storage

My phone is not backed up and not rooted.

Please let me know ASAP!! Thanks!

**Another question... if I root the phone now, would it be possible to use an app like DiskDigger to recover the photos that were deleted before rooting?

I'm certain those are turned off especially for things like auto upload on Google plus

Download a file manager (one made by Rhythm Software in playstore). Go to DCIM and check your thumbnails. Try and see if its there.

There are photo recovery tools that run on Android natively, not sure how well they work or not or if root is required.

No not gone just try diskdigger from the play store . pro works better

Any chance that you had Google+ or Dropbox photo sync turned on? I use both and never have to worry about the photos on my device. They're backed up in 2 places.

That's from the heart dropbox don't miss nothing .:what: only if you miss checking the options in the settings.

Install an app called dumpster to avoid this happening again.
