Help Accidentally turned on wifi hot spot...wifi won't work now

OK, so I accidentally turned on the mobile hot spot, and now since I turned it off my wifi is f'd up on my GNex. Wtf do I do to make my wifi connection active on my GNex again?
 
I know that this might sound weird...but did you reboot after you unchecked hotspot?
Also, make sure that YOUR wifi is on...
I know, you prolly already check these things...but gotta ask....

edit: are you running stock or have you updated your ROM?

Yeah I have rebooted after I turned off wifi and it still won't work. When I turn on wifi, the icon is grey and I have no internet connection. Also, I can't get rid of the saved hotspot connection in the hot spot settings.

Glad it is working again. Wonder if your router saw too many "routers" and tried to connect....good to know.
