Root Accidentally wiped stock rom! Don't worry, quick question.

Well, I was in unsafe mode and accidentally wiped my stock rom. It hasn't been a big deal as I've been enjoying Icarus HD. However, since I want to get the upcoming Jelly Bean OTA update that will be released next week I'll have to put the stock back.

My quick question is: Do I return to stock and resume the normal OTA update schedule by flashing with 6.7.246 using RSDLite?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Wait - if you wiped meaning that you did a wipe data/factory reset of the stock "slot", you should be all set - you'll just need to activate the stock slot and reinstall the stock from scratch - all your user apps and data would be lost. You should still be rooted, though, and safestrap will stay active (though you'd want to reinstall the Safestrap app, so you can turn off safestrap recovery, etc.)

If you wiped the system partition, though, then yes, RSD Lite is the way to go. I'd make sure to copy your internal storage to a PC first, as the typical RSD Lite will wipe the storage, which would lose your ROM slots. (I'd also do a backup from Safestrap to external SD card, just to make sure.)

After you get stock reinstalled, and Safestrap reinstalled, I believe that you can backup stock, just like a slot, from Safestrap, and then restore it later, just in case this happens again... ;)

Thanks for the info guys! This worked like a charm for me. I thought I was SOL for a minute there. I had that same feeling like when I realized (too late) I had typed /dev/sdd instead of /dev/sda on a format once. Oh the horror.
Thanks again!
