Root Account and Sync - auto starting

Can someone help me to track whats starting my Auto Sync. I get the "Sync Icon" all the time. I have to go into Account and Syncs and select "Cancel Sync" to remove the icon. I dont have auto sync enabled. I would like to know if there is a way to track whats accessing that feature. I have full Systempanel and Logcat but what should i be looking for? Would it be like weather widgets?

I remember seeing somewhere on XDA that filling out the setup info when you first boot into a ROM stops this from happening. You could also try rebooting, and hard resetting.

reFlash the ROM?

nan-backup
re-flash
restore ???

Yeah Backup just in case.

Reflash the ROM, wiping completely of course. When you run the first boot into the ROM, fill out the stuff in setup.

This should work, not for sure but worth a try.
