Help Account & Sync symbol wont go away!!!

Lately I noticed little things that my phone does that is annoying! Usually when I start my phone my phone sync automatically but after 2-3 minutes it will go away...meaning the syncing is done.

Im only syncing my Facebook, Google account and Weather. Background Data and Auto-Sync both checked. Weather is set to sync every hour and the rest just once a day.

Lately when my phone syncs...the symbol would not go away. I would go to MENU >SETTINGS>Accounts & Sync and check. Nothing is syncing. So I hit CANCEL SYNC and the sync symbol is gone. Then I would hit SYNC ALL and it would appear again. But after like 2-3 minutes its gone. But when everytime I start my phone and it was syncing....even after the syncing is done, the sync symbol would still be on my status bar. I dont know how to fix it. The only way is to go into settings and account & sync and manually cancel it. I never had to do that before or ever! What can I do?
 
Are you rooted?
Have you removed any apps recently?
Could try deleting all the accounts out of the phone and adding them again.
 
When it is doing it open the individual items in setting > Sync and see which one it is. There is the potential it is weather since I noticed the past few days AccuWeather is not working right.

I tried to delete and create the Gmail account and Facebook account. Nothing.

I checked everytime to see which is still syncing...and nothing. All of the accounts were done syncing because the sync symbols (when something is syncing) is done. And when I SYNC ALL...the sync came back on the status AND the accounts. Then after it is done syncing, all symbol disappeared.

MY problem is why is the sync symbol NOT go away after the initial start up sync? I can only get rid of it but going into Acount & Sync and CANCEL ALL.
 
Since you are rooted, did you remove any bloatware, friendstream is the main culprit for this, that has the ability to sync?
