Accurate battery life widget

Verizon sent me a Bionic after 3 TBs doing the same thing. Rebooting/sending txts to the wrong person with no update in site.

I'm a fairly simple person, I don't get crazy with the phones and only need a few things.

1 is a battery widget. I used battery solo widget on the TB and it gave me an exact battery life.

The same widget on the bionic goes by 10%s.

90-80-70 ect ect... anyone here know whats "accurate" for the bionic? Its my first Moto phone, I've only had HTC in the past.

There is a Battery Solo Widget (free) and a Battery Solo Widget Pro ($2.00) in the Android Market.

It looks from the description that the Pro version does what you want.

I do not have it installed so I cannot tell for sure.

the solo widget did what i want, an accurate % of battery left, on the bionic it just gives every 10%.

The battery solo widget works for you? It gives me increments in 10% too, I use circle battery widget.
it worked perfect on my thunderbolt. the bionic is the 10%.

also, it says i need to have wifi enabled to use the CBW... really? its 55k in size...

Go to your battery and data manager settings then data saver and make sure that's not enabled. Otherwise i think you need to be connected to wifi to download things.

There are two versions in the market. One of them doesn't do what you want. The description of the other seems to do what you do want. The one that seems to do what you do want is $1.99 and is the "Pro" versaion.

There are lots of battery appliactions available and maybe there is another one that does what you want.

My understanding is that you would like it to say something like 52% and the one you are currently using jumps from 60% to 50%.

Is suggest you look at the description of the Pro version in the Android Market.

exactly... its working. thanks guys.

Is this the only battery app to show the exact percentage of your battery life? I use BatteryLife by curvefish which I love, but of course only shows increments of 10% which stinks. Is there any thing like it? Why does this happen on the Bionic?

The only other one I know that works besides circle battery widget is battmonx.

Battery Monitor Widget will do this for you I believe (Among other awesome things)

But to be honest, I'm not sure because I have a 1% hack installed, so every battery meter on my phone is in 1% increments.

Circle Battery Widget should work without any hacks for sure though.

I use this: Battery Monitor by Simmo.

I was using circle battery widget, but what I like about this is that it gives me the battery % in the notification area of the status bar, so I don't have to unlock the phone to get the exact battery remaining.

Battmonx also works; the developer Scary Alien is an old friend from the Eris days (which are not that far back for me.) However, I find the % hard to read on the status bar with his app.

Thanks all. I've since uninstalled BatteryLife and installed Batter Monitor Widget. It looks good, very customizable, tells the % in increments of 1%, and best of all it's FREE!!

Have you tried pressing the widget yet? :P Most comprehensive breakdown of battery information I have ever seen :D

I've been using Battery Left Pro. It calibrates itself to your particular battery. It does show % in increments of 1%. It also will show the "time to dead" in hours and minutes, "time of dead" in 24 hour time and several other statistics on the widget. The widget is configurable and the app allows you to use multiple batteries and has a database to keep the correct data for a particular battery. You have to manually change the battery being used in the app. Anyway, I love the app and the widget is nice.
