Accuweather homescreen widget help

So here in chicago we had the clock go back an hour and the accuweather widget did not change its time and is still showing an hour ahead. I tried refreshing it over and over even put the widget in the trash and back on again still not showing me the correct time?

Also right next to the date in the bottom right corner of the accuweather widget there is the time showing and its not changing with the bigger one just stays the same?

Mine is doing this in the uk as well, I could refresh it to get it to show the correct time but a few hours time and it would be back to displaying the wrong time again so I gave up with it and installed a different app.

That's interesting, I was surprised with mine to see how quick it changed, as soon as I woke the phone the next day it changed. Is there not a setting to use daylight saving?
Edit: here are my time and date settings in the settings option......

I am actually experimenting with nove launcher at the moment so the stock weather widget is gone from the options anyway, if I go back to tw I will delve a bit deeper and see if I can sort it.

The big clock links in to your system and network time, you need to make sure your system settings are correct for it to work properly. The small clock in the corner shows the time the widget weather was refreshed and not the actual time. If you click manual refresh it will show the time you did it.

Hmm I'm guessing here but it could be having problems connecting to the internet. You can set auto update for it in the settings.

My phone time is displaying properly. Phone changed on its on when DST took affect. Accuweather is doing the same as the OP. Refreshing worked til phone went to sleep.

kool i didnt know the small time in the bottom right corner next to the date only updates when u refresh it yourself i thought i was having a problem but as far as the big clock on the widget i got it to adjust itself by turning on all my wireless location settings and then refreshed it and it worked so its fine now even with all the wireless location settings off.

The only thing im noticing now is that the weather is not being updated when i wokeup the weather was wrong i had to refresh it in order to change to the correct weather? before i never had to do that and even with auto refresh off.

Mine seems to never update on its on. I have to always click to refresh. It's not a big deal to me. I know cold when I feel it. :p
