accuweather install

[chwoiy]

hi, i'm new to rooting and have no fundamental idea on how stuff works. i just follow some youtube tutorials and read some of the threads here.

i recently bought a rooted galaxy s2. i planned to restore to factory default but read that it's gonna give me problems. so anyway, i just used it as it is. rooted with revoHD v4. i think that is the rom name.

anyway, when i got the phone, the accuweather widget is missing. also, i can't seem to resize any other widgets.

i really like this widget but can't seem to find any good threads that can help me install it.

i tried downloading the apk file here:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/spr...SENVeXlqUm5vV0E&single=true&gid=0&output=html

pasted it in /system/app

then rebooted. but still, the widget doesn't show.

pls help

thanks in advance

The .apk file is an installer file. Just navigate to it using a file manager and click on it to install.

You may well find that the weather widget is also available in the Kitchen Pro app of CheckRom RevoHD.
