Here is a fix that worked for me, my uncle and two friends:

1) Enable GPS
2) Tap on the Accuweather widget to bring it to full screen
3) Tap on the menu button (lines and bullet points in top right)
4) Tap the + in the top-right
5) Tap 'Find Current Location' (make sure you have at least one signal bar)
6) Tap the result
7) Return to main screen
8) Press refresh on the bottom-right of the widget (may take a few minutes to update accurately)

;)

Thanks a lot - just what I needed. :) Thanks for the step-by-step instructions, I needed them as I haven't had my phone very long and still don't know my way around very well! I spent a lot of the day going through all my settings and wondering why I couldn't find a setting for 'the clock in the weather app', it was doing my head in. I also like this app so didn't want to have to delete it just to get rid of the prominent clock showing the wrong time. I wonder if we'll all have to do this again next time the clocks change, or whether they will have sorted it by then.

My phone has successfully realised overnight that we are now in British summer time, the time on the phone is correct, however the accuweather widget has stubbornly not changed to BST and is still on GMT, what can I do to get it to show the correct time on the widget as I like it!

Hi
My GS3 also did this. Took me ages to find a fix but this worked for me (also on my wifes gs3)

Go to the app and remove all locations by clicking the dots and lines button top right then long press each location and delete.
Exit app
Go to settings> application manager > running apps. Click show cached processes

Click weather daemon and stop it
Click weather widget main and stop it
Then slide to all and clear weather widgets data.

Turn phone off and remove battery for a minute or two.
Replaced battery and rebooted phone. Re-added my location manually (if it auto detects location widget wont update at the desired interval it does if location manually added)

Your location should now show with the correct time and the sun symbol to its right side indicating adjusted for BST

Hope this helps

Edit: strike that its gone back again. Must be something their end as when I view my location on their website the times wrong there too by an hour

Hi everyone sorry you had so much trouble last week. In eastern Australia we finished daylight saving last night. None of your fixes worked for me so in frustration I just turned my SIII of for a few hours and voila, accuweather time corrected itself. Cheers
