Help Acer 500

God the acer 500 for Christmas, wifi connection worked, now it won't I'm even in the same room as the router, every app I try to apply to it doesn't work. Any help out there for non computer/tech perons????

Did you do anything to the Tablet?

If you loest your wifi after doing an update you got the same pain alot of us did last year. You have to hit the reset as you are trying to connect to the web. You may have to do it a couple of times. It's a big in the system, I had the same problem as well as a whole bunch of others. Funny thing is, it only did it with some of the tabs, not everyone got hit. Read some of the older posts for the answer to your problem. There were several different fixes for the problem depending on while run of tab you have.

If all else fails, you could do a factory reset. I thought about your problem a bit more and thought you might want to go into your settings and make sure it didn't some how reset into air port mode or turned off the wifi. I know it's a stupid thought but I have been known to think outside of more than the box over the last 12 years playing with computers. Sometimes the goofiest problems have the simplest solutions.

If you are still having problems connecting to your wifi, try temporarily shutting off any encryption you might be using. Wifi is much easier to troubleshoot without that added layer of complexity. Also, has it worked connecting to anyone else's wifi?
