Acer A110 vs Nexus 7?

Quad core processor, SD Card, & HDMI port, that beats the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 I purchased. Same display resolution.

What convinced me to purchase the Tab2 was the Student Edition, which included the keyboard and USB adapter for the same price.

Sounds like a good deal to me.

Not bad, my Acer A500 was a good tablet when it was released, rather underrated IMO, since it had full USB support. Of course this one doesn't have that, but looks decent, and competitive on price.

It's still not pure Google, so good luck with updates. I'd rather have my nexus hands down.

Indeed - This is the first Nexus device I've owned and I'm really happy with it. Still, I had to root just to install Stickmount to expand my storage and that kinda bummed me. I'm not out for giving it up, but I am curious to see what else crops up now that Google/ Asus have set a bar and what folks think. :dalek:

Acer A110 has a 2mp front camera vs nexus 1.2mp

Microsd slot (supports up to 32gb)

hdmi out makes it easy to connect to tv.

does anyone know if nexus 7 can do tv out?

looks like i need the acer a110 & nexus 7 to have a bastard love child which has

720p display
sdcard slot
hdmi out
stock jellybean
(3g variant would be nice too)

whoever makes this can just shutup and take my money :)

I think manufacturers are going to take the 7 inch tablet market much more seriously with the huge success of the Nexus 7. I'm looking forward to seeing what Samsung comes out with next in their 7 inch market, I can imagine it'll be these specs. Samsung's newer quad core chip in a 7 inch would be awesome!

i really want a 7inch tab now and even though the acer has nice features it doesn't have 720p like the nexus 7. So i'm still leaning towards the nexus 7

dont think i can wait until the next galaxy tab 7inch probably be a while

It looks like stock Jellybean to me, but I'm not impressed that it doesn't seem to allow screen rotation. That's a deal killer IMO. :(

it does rotate in the comments of the youtube vid someone says by default jellybean comes with screen rotation locked. Pull down notification bar and press the lock icon. Then it can rotate :)
