Acer A500 android 4 update

I am in Sask Can. still no Android 4 update. Anyone know how updates are picked . I understand some in Can. have received the update.



May 9 update
Was downloaded. self initiated on may 7th all seems to work well for now. I did have to reload Netflix .

First, welcome to the forums. Lots of good knowledge floating around these parts.
Secondly, you might have better luck with your A500 in the device thread located here:

Welcome pecan! I'm still waiting for mine too.

Regarding the update, I highly recommend doing a factory reset, I strongly suspect cached and stored data from apps and processes are causing a lot of the problems with ICS on the A500. Clear that out, and the reviews then become much more positive.
