Any good recommendations for a case that will protect the Acer?

Acer doesn't list any tablet accessories on their US website. I didn't think to ask best buy when I bought the A500, but no case listed on their website.

Agreed, but at least I'll be able to slip it into my courier bag without scratching the screen. I'm sure cases will come about soon enough...

Just got my case from staples. Wow that new car smell is very powerful. Neoprene love is what I have with it. Hopefully it will wear off soon lol. Case is a decent Ipad type of stand so no issues yet with it. Not the best type of stand, but passable for minor needs.

I just bought that case too, and I'm not all that thrilled with it. I don't like the seems on the edges, and the little velcro dot that is on there is not quite enough to keep it securely closed. Really hoping a better case comes out for this

Nope. The A500 is about .5" wider, since has USB host port (needs room on the bezel for it).

I bought this case also at Staples.It is better than nothing but lacking for sure. It also creates a lot of dust/lint from the type of material it is. It is getting less with use but I will be shopping for a better case.Oh and it is really a challenge getting the thing out of the case the first few times.

I bought one of the Acer basic cases, works very well, price could be a bit cheaper though. Really they should have included it with the unit, probably would have cost them about $2.50 for each one but would have made buyers very happy.

I was at a store nearby called "Five Below" and they had a huge selection of phone/netbook/notebook cases at discounted prices.

I ended up getting a Ventev netbook case, about 9" x 11", made out out of a black covered foam, zip top, fully lined, which fits the A500 like it was made for it. Paid about $5.00.

I got a 360 rotating case off eBay. Was like $16 shipped. I was considering a roocase but so far I am happy with this one.

So my roocase came today, and the only minor complaint I have about it is that there's no way to secure the front cover closed (that I know of) and it sticks up a little bit when I lay it face up on the table and close it

I got a Black Verteks Multi -angle slim fit folio case from amazon for 14.97. Great case ALL the holes line up and looks just as good as a roocase only much cheaper. I got it because it got 100% good reviews. Very happy I did.

My a500 came with a nice Targus leather adjustable folding stand.. These guys make stuff all over the board in quality, but this seems nice. So ya might look at what the brand offers. Hole for front camera even.. woot.. the elastic band that holds it closed dangles in front of the camera too so others in the room don't get creeped out (bonus).. 8)
