Help Acer Iconia a500 wifi problems

acer iconia a500 I have the Acer conia a500 and I love it I get a good connection but when I'm not home and try to connect to my cell phones Mobile AP to connect up to five dvises my Acer connects but I get the error web page can be displayed. Why what's going on says I have a good signal but nothing loads up like there is no connection. Thanks have a nice day
 
Can you connect other devices to you phone and get on the internet? Sounds like dns issue with your phone or some other hotspot configuration.
 
I can't seem to get my acer Iconia to connect to my internet. We have two of these, one is mine, and the other is my sisters. One of them is connected fine, and we have no problems, but the other says that our internet is disabled. We have been trying for 4 days to get it connected. Any suggestions? Please and thanks.
 
Have you gone into your settings to make sure your wifi is on and you aren't in Ariport mode? I know stupid question but I've been known to over look the obvious.
 
I couldn't get my Iconia to properly use the Wifi this morning.

It would connect but no data would go through. The send/receive lights were not doing very much.

I restarted the Iconia twice, no luck. I restarted the cable modem/router combo, no luck.

I fired up my iPhone 4 to make sure that the Wifi was working for it. The wifi worked fine.

After that, the Iconia decided to start working. Maybe a DHCP error? Try using another device, see if that helps.
