Acer Liquid 2 Announced!

Found this over at Modaco- YouTube - Upcoming Acer Smartphones including Liquid 2

It is at like 4:20 into the video- 3.7" LED screen, 1GHz, TV out (guessing HDMI but did not say), gaming w/ 3d capability.

It has 3 media keys on the bottom which look really ugly. Don't think I would upgrade since I don't like the look too much.

Not much of an upgrade from Liquid E. Just hope they support 2.2 on liquidE (which is yet to be released)

Then again, the Liquid already employs high end technology. The revealed specs are the same as the incredible. I am guessing by including media buttons, they will make it a better media device.

As for froyo on the current Liquid, it is possible (no doubt the phone can handle it) and I too am hoping for that. Time will tell on that.

Dont think you will see a faster proc on any device faster than 1Ghz in the next 4-6 months at least. The snapdragon is still sufficient balancing speed and battery life.
