acer released 3.1 update. i have updated.

I have updated to 3.1. But what is the new thing?

How did you update manually? Thought Acer will push the update to A500 when they're ready. They 're a bit slow consider in the release has been out now for 1 month? The current release on my Tab is 3.01

Not so sure Acer have released the update, I am not seeing it and I am one of their most important customers.... ;-)

I just purchased the iconia. As soon as I turned on wifi the update was there. Just installed it. I have nothing to compare since I just bought it an hour ago..

Actually just noticed its 3.0.1 and not 3.1 that installed.

The 3.1 update is being shared on XDA forum right now. It was released in china and is multi language.I downloaded it but haven't used it yet till I check to make sure all my programs are unfrozen and i un root it. You will lose root till they make a new program with the update to root it again. It sounds like the update will plat 1080p and has better support for usb and other things.
