Acer Tablet & Ebooks

I was wondering how to get ebooks onto the Acer Iconia. For my ipad 2, I use the dropbox & ibooks. I was wondering if the Acer Iconia can do this, too. The 2 Acer Iconia Tablets are for my 2 kids. They are bugging me to finish this so they can use them. I still have 3 more hours until they can. I got that protect thing on it. I was told not to allow them on it for 24 hours. It is up in 3 hours. Thanks so much.

I was also hoping someone can help me with getting digital copy movies onto the Acer Iconia, too. The format is WMV. Do I need to convert them? To what? How? Thanks.

We got the kids the A100. I put this in the A500 by mistake.

Don't know about movies, but you can download both Kindle and Nook readers for Android - but only works for their stores.

There are other ereaders. Aldiko is popular, Moon, FB Reader. All these will read epub.
Aldiko is supposed to be able to read pdf.

I use the SD card, but dropbox should work. If you do use the external SD card, you have to really hunt for the path to get to your books.

I know how to do the movies. You do the digital copies through itunes for my ipad & the tablets you need to have the digital copy disc in the dvd drive & select android. I finally figured it out for my android cell!!!

Now for the ebooks. Thanks. I will try those ereaders.

I use moon+ reader pro. it can sync furthest read between devices using drop box if you load the books. uou can use claiblre as a opds server on your home machine.

for aldiko there is an aldiko sync program that will sync books and furhtest read using drop box.

i like moon + better for reading.

The Kindle syncs up to all of my computers with no problem.

I do all of my book shopping from Amazon but that is just personal preference.

I just bought my A100 and had no problem installing Kindle.
