Root [ACS]Root for Transform Ultra

I'm thrilled, I just Rooted my Samsung Transform Ultra! :)

I bought it on Black Friday for cheap on the internet, and I activated it 2wks ago. I really like the phone, but already there are some things I'd like to change...

For starters:
> Tethering
> Remove Adds

Now I need to find a way to Root my kid's cell phone.... LG Optimus V
Is there a one-click method for that phone too?

Love the pirate droid icon for su. Was severely entertained by the install. Dev with a sense of humor. Seems t work the business. Definately gives me the confidence in ya to try Star Scrom.

Star Settings has me drooling.

To few paychecks since Xmas but expect some love from this way soon.

is anyone else having issues loading drivers correctlly on win 7 64 bit i just cannot get them to install correctly any help would be greatly wanted

do we have to have adb installed and working prior to using this or will it just work also do we need the sdk tools and developement kit and all that i see adb in the zip just didnt want to mess up my phone before i got cwm on it and made a back up . thanks in advance . not new to android just new to transform ultra . i run a fully modded intercept now

edit : i ran both the cwm install and once click root both worked great thanks . Look for some love in form of donation from this way thanks again.

A couple quick questions:

1. Does this make the device "s-off"? Or is it just a partial root?

2. How do I find the bootloader on this phone? I pressed vol up and vol down and power and I got a screen that says downloading and something about start download now or restart phone...I didn't wanna mess anything up til I knew for sure, so I restarted...this my first samsung android phone so I've never seen that before...

our phone dont have s-off and it is fully root after you install this program. our phone dont have boot loader either. you can access to recovery mode by holding vol down and power button down when the phone is off. After you install this, i recommend you to install cwm after this. clockworkmod help you back up your file and install custom rom  after you install Cwm it will replace recovery mode and you can access cwm by holding vol down and power button when the phone is off.

Ok...guess I don't understand how an android phone doesn't have a bootloader...yeah I know what clockworkmod is, I'm not new to android, just new to this weird samsung phone...so if there is no bootloader then what is the other screen I found? Its VOLDOWN+CAMERA+POWER and it says something about installing a custom OS and asks if you want to download a custom OS (vol up) or restart (vol down). If I press vol down it restarts, but if I press vol up it doesn't seem to do anything...it just seems to freeze and then I hafta pull the battery to restart...
Anybody know what its talking about? Sorry to thread-jack but my original question was relevant here...

I am currently using Samsung transform ultra thinking about root but i still have some major questions i'm not a rich kid . my phone has lot of apps and so on like go launcher, go locker, and so on so it has its slow moments and so on i also would be using a laptop windows 7 Intel core . wondering if that made any differences also i would pretty much be dumped with out my cell {long distance}so if anyone has some input would be very much helpful in my decision my Skype is "tylerdaly16" yahoo is "tylerdaly13@yahoo.com" please and thank you look forward to your input .... btw im on boost.

Is it possible to root this machine (the samsung transform ultra) without a pc? That's all, curious is all. Cheers!

I want to thank all the devs that were involved. My wife just upgraded to the Transform Ultra and the root went smoothly. Thank you!

I have attached a screen image of the errors put out. Any idea where I went wrong rooting this phone?

I have rooted others successfully but this one wont go.

Oneclick for all OSs!(Windows, Mac, Linux)

Download the One Click Root!!! Run the .bat file if on Windows, or the SH file if on mac/linux

If it doesn't work for some reason. Reboot and you'll have root.

Samsung drivers if needed -->Drivers for Windows!

Thanks to the creators of zergRush

Enjoy your rooted Transform Ultra!
I don't mind donations and neither does my bud ShabbyPenguin.

The exploit did not take. Did you retry a few times? I had to retry it a few times for the exploit to actually take.
