i need the actual partition :) not just people pulling the files off :/

im missing 2 right now and i can get the rest of the partitions up :)

if you wish to help click the webchat link in my sig and join #admire

Try finding or contacting Unforgiven512, he had done the same. He said something about flashing another Odin ROM, getting into recovery and somehow restoring the kernel and the whole ROM.

ive tried. we have talked and worked on projects in the past, hes a really cool guy. i got "boot" tar done and uploading.. just need to test if the stl12 that we got is good.. if so then we have a way for everyone to return to stock

a way to fix the update etc etc :)

ok so basic instructions are up as are files. please read everything first. this isnt teh final version just wanted to get up the basics so people who are "bricked" can use their phone again :)

hahaha I was wondering .. yea I kinda pulled after rooting so it wasn't a complete stock Rom. most stock files are there. basically of use if just certain apps are missing or media files. like I've used it many times to pull and push odex. files that I've deleted. But yea sorry y'all didn't benefit from it.

I have a friend with a stock admire so ill see when I can get him to let me hold his phone so I can pull it. ill try tomorrow.

btw no need to disrespect my attempts by calling it a dump! :(

I know that much but just to clarify ... My system dump isn't complete ... so why use that one on this thread?? What I meant to say is. ill pull a better System dump then the one already posted... A complete STOCK ROM..

what mystery is trying to say is we have a complete system dump :) its how the tars are working, im just lazy and havent fixed it all up yet :P

theres no disrespect meant towards your files or your work, thats great if people want to start working on a rom.. they have a nice already pulled base.. or if someone messed up on a few files they can save themselves the headache of trying to odin by using your dump to fix the little things. odin is kinda like going at a chalkboard with a firehose. it will get everything clean make no mistake :) obviously if youve done a whole bunch of work to your phone then you dont really wanna blast it to hell ya know? ;)

with this tho everyone who took the upgrade will be fixed (fully). this is so people can mess around with things and get their phone not working and just be like oh... dammit i gutta odin now... rather than calling metropcs and trying to get a new phone ;)

plus with all this out we can start doing some of the cooler things like having other users test my cwm build :)

ohhh gotcha gotcha lolz. which of course ill be doing in the morning. and yeah I understand. just one question is it or is it not my system dump linked up top. if it is, why not post the right one? Jw..

Your system dump is good for building a rom. To get odin working we needed the system dumped in raw/image form known as dev blocks. Open up the .tar and you'll see how its structured. Recovery.img, system.rfs, boot.img, asmss. Its not a file structure.

When a rom dev develops a rom its in file structure like your dump then its put into a neat little update zip.

So yes your files where linked above but we grabbed what we actually needed behind the scenes as your files did us no good

that was because retrodelete thought they might be helpful towards getting the tars completed :)
