Actice sync not syncing -- phone to client

I have my HTC desire syncing with my work outlook account (exchange 2010) and my g-mail. When I open an email in my outlook client everything syncs fine but when I open an email on the phone it remains unread in the outlook client. Everything syncs both ways with my g-mail account.


Anybody seen this before?
