Help Activate Icon Issue?

Is anyone else having an issue with the Activate notification icon appearing after each time the phone is turned on? I have talked to customer service twice and it seems the phone is not holding the MSID number. I was just curious if anyone else was having the same issue. I hadn't seen anything posted here on this specific issue.

I had this happen, I then went into ##VIRGIN# and entered them manually
 
Yeah, the same thing happened to me. My guess is that it's just a software issue but whenever it appears, there doesn't seem to be any effect on my 3g, signal strength, or anything else. Just somewhat annoying.
 
I'm having the same issue with the constantly appearing activation icon. With my third Triumph phone from Virgin (with the supposed software fix), I'm still getting the activation icon appearing and the MSID disappearing.

This phone does seem to function regardless (first Triumph lost the ability to text). Virgin has no answer but to replace the phone and I'm just fed up that no one knows why this is happening. I've also spent way too many hours on the phone with customer/tech support. Has anyone had this same experience? Anyone got an idea as to what the fix may be?
 
this is a pretty common issue that Virgin is aware of, and there doesn't seem to be a fix. Just have to clear it and move on.
 
We have three Triumphs at home and all have the activate issue. I was able to correct it on all three phones by removing the update "ubersocial for twitter". You cannot remove the APP, but you can remove the update in settings. Our phones used to ask for activation two or three times a week, and have not asked for months. Hope this helps.
