Help Activate phone before or after installing CM7?

Hey guys. I'm about to pull the trigger and purchase an LG Optimus V for use on Boost Mobile. Does it matter if I activate the phone after I put CM7 on the phone or do I need to do it before?

Oh and can anyone tell me if embedded flash works under CM7?

Before. You cannot activate with cm7. You must be using a froyo rom to activate.

Oh, and the lg optimus V is for virgin mobile, not boost mobile.

to answer the third question. flash will work in the browser if u use the backside rom and install flash 11 from xda. i have it on my phone
