Root Adb card fix

I found this thread on xda about how to fix an sd card mount problem. But I'm unclear on how to execute adb commands and how to start. Any help. Thx

This information assumes you have the eng bootloader, as at the time, the only way to root was by flashing that. Now, you can root via unrevoked, but it doesn't give you the options of using extended fastboot commands, like that, or flashing what it's telling you to flash.
